Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Rhyolite deserted mining camp on the way to Death Valley, ca.1900-1950. A one-story wooden building with a covered porch and sloped roof can be seen at left. One of the windows can be seen boarded up, while a second wooden building behind and to the right of the first is visible with a sloped roof, four windows, and a tower. What appears to be a window frame is visible in the right foreground amongst the desert shrubs, while mountains are visible in the background.
