Drucker interviews Peter James Flamming in his audio book, “The Nonprofit Drucker.” This tape is part of the series entitled, “Mission and Leadership.” Flamming begins by explaining that he is the senior reverend minister of the First Baptist Church of Richmond, Virginia. He talks about how leaders must see possibilities for the future, and must be focused on opportunity and action. He discusses how to manage both resources and need. Flamming describes how to define the mission statement of a church or other religious organization. He stresses the importance of looking at demographics and knowing what the customer values. Flamming ends the interview by discussing his biggest accomplishments.
