Description: Members of the SPARS, Coast Guard auxilliary, clad in their snappy uniforms, are shown in the parade. Thousands of men and women of the armed forces marched in the mighty pageant. On the sidewalks civilians cheered loudly as each branch of the service moved down the street. Photo dated: October 16, 1943.
