Description
Two women and a little girl are depicted at the beach, watching waves crash on the rocks. The woman on the left wears a straw hat with a black band and a light blue veil at the back. Her dress is purple and has tiers of ruffles on the skirt. Her jacket is gray with long bell sleeves, edged in gray satin with rosettes at the back. She holds a blue and white striped umbrella in her right hand. The little girl wears her her hair down, with a small black hat. Her skirt is knee length and is red and white striped. Her jacket is black with red lining, and red trim at the cuffs. Under it she wears a white blouse with a sailor collar trimmed with red, with a red tie at her neck. The jacket has a brown belt. Her boots are brown and end about mid-calf. She wears brown gloves. The woman on the right wears a hat with a mint green veil in the back and pink and white flowers. Her jacket is ivory with long sleeves and a shirt collar. Her bodice is black with buttons down the center front and a brown belt with an white umbrella hanging from it. Her skirt is brown and her underskirt is blue.
