Black and white silent film contains various scenes of students at San Mateo Junior College (now College of San Mateo). Scenes include: Women in Personal Management class sit, stand, and walk downstairs; Men's Personal Management class, demonstration of a before and after on “How you walk and appear to others”; Junior League Fashion Show (Adaline Bowman Ross directed and was Master of Ceremonies for the show); Vacaville children go to the opera in San Francisco 82-51.2 / Black and white film of / the Human Relations Class / CSM 1941 (typewritten on adhesive label on top of can); "San Mateo College, Black + White film. / May 1941 / Personal Management Class May 1941 / Women / Men's P.M. Class / J. L. Fashion Show / Vacaville children go to the opera / Adaline Bowman (now Mrs Ross) / directed + MC's a fashion show. / Girls in Personal Management Class sit stand + walk down stairs / ‘[Boys]’ do a before + after on ‘How you walk + appear to others’ / (1976 would [boys] do this now?? / I wonder)" (handwritten on a piece of lined paper stored in film can)
