Description: Union Mission hosted a marathon Thanksgiving dinner for thousands of L.A. Skid-row residents. Members came by bus from as far away as Texas and Kentucky, to serve meals in a parking lot near the church at 601 East 5th Street, in downtown Los Angeles. Photo dated: November 27, 1970.
