Description
Photograph of an aerial view of the ruin of the ancestral Pueblo village of Tyuonyi in Bandelier National Monument, Los Alamos, New Mexico, 1900-1940. The ruin consists of small rectangular and dilapidated chambers with no roofs which are all connected to each other, creating a semi-circular structure. A large patch of grass fills in the middle of the ruin. A field of trees and scrubs surround the site. This ruin is at the base of Frijoles Canyon and was inhabited by ancestors of the Pueblo Indians who live in Northern New Mexico.
