Photograph was edited for publication purposes Alan Young was born Angus Young on November 19, 1919. He was a Canadian-American actor, voice actor, comedian, radio and television host. Best known for his role as Wilbur Post in the television comedy series Mister Ed, Young was also the voice of Scrooge McDuck in Disney films, television series and video games. Early in his career, he starred in his own show, The Alan Young Show on radio and television, and appeared in a number of feature films. He won two Emmy Awards in 1951. He continued working until his death on May 19, 2016. Photograph caption dated December 8, 1950 reads "Alan Young, star of films, radio and television, snips ribbon to open modern new Harris and Frank men's store at Lankershim Blvd. and McCormick St., North Hollywood. He is watched by, left to right, Jane Rogers, visitor; Lester Greenberg, vice president of Harris and Frank; Al Greenberg, vice president; Harry Greenberg, president; Emanuel Greenberg, vice president, and Alexander P. Brody, manager." The address of the new store is 5236 Lankershim Boulevard.
