Description
Firemen and their horse-drawn fire equipment pose in front of the new San Jose Fire Department headquarters located at 35 North Market Street. The building replaced the old headquarters which was heavily damaged in the 1906 earthquake. The building was demolished in 1951. The site is now occupied by the Sonoma Chicken Coop Restaurant.
