Description: "Rasanany med familie og Lars Meling" ("Rasanany together with his family and Lars Meling"). As a child Rasanany was at Borchgrevinks Boys' School and his wife was at the Girls' School. Rasanany was very musical and was the organist in Ambatovinaky Church for several years. He became a teacher and moved to Ambohimasina in 1902.
Christian Doederlein Borchgrevink 1841-1919, was a missionary in Madagascar from 1869-1912. He married Johanna Christiane Wang 1836-1924, in Tamatave on September 4, 1870.
