Description: Arnold Statz, Angels' centerfielder, fooled the Evening Herald and Express photographer on this one. The camera man thought Statz was going to connect. Statz had the same idea, incidentally. A moment later, Arnold did connect for a lusty two-base swipe--but the photographer was changing plates, or something. Photo dated: April 9, 1935.
