A postcard of the State Normal School, San Jose, California. Tower Hall is prominent on the postcard.
Postcard is postmarked "July 5, 1936, 7:30 pm, San Jose, Calif." Handwritten on verso of postcard: addressed to "Miss Shirley Smith, Miranda, Calif., Humboldt Co." Text: "July 5. Dear Shirley: I wonder if it is raining there today. It has started to shower here and is very dark and gloomy. The building in the picture is part of the school I'm attending. I've been having a good time visiting my old friends. I hope you are having a happy vacation. Sincerely, J. Jacobs."
