"Baptizing Peter Chew, our 100th Malayan convert since coming to the Far East. Place: Mengkibal River, Kluang, Johore [sic]. Date: Dec. 5, 1956" Ira Y. Rice, the first American missionary from Churches of Christ to Malaysia and Singapore, baptizes Peter Chew.
