This photographic album contains 28 black-and-white photographs of the Royal Laundry and Dry Cleaning plant in Pasadena, California. As stated on the title page, this is an album "-following the camera man through Pasadena's Largest and Finest Laundry and Dry Cleaning Plant." The album follows the step-by-step process of the laundry and dry cleaning of a Mrs. Arnold beginning with pick up at her home and on through every facet of the Royal Laundry operation and business and includes images of workers in various departments; laundry and dry cleaning machines; the general offices; and the exterior of the main plant at 443 S. Raymond Ave. The album concludes with the delivery of laundry to a satisfied Mrs. Arnold and photographed copies of typewritten letters of commendation to the Laundry from three officials of the City of Pasadena: E.F. Coop, Chief of the Fire Department, J.D. Dunshee, Health Officer, Charles H. Kelley, Chief of Police, dated from June 1933. Versos blank and not photographed. Title transcribed from cover.
