Description
Photograph of a car passing through a rift in a huge tree at Big Basin Redwood State Park, ca.1935. The early-model automobile is at center and is facing to the right. It is sticking out about three-fourths of the way from a large triangular hole in the trunk of the tree, which towers above the car at center. Two men in suits and caps are standing near the car and are looking towards the camera. There are many other massive redwood trees visible in the forest around the car and the men.
