Photograph article dated June 6, 1963 partially reads, "When things get dull this summer with television reruns and crowded drive-in movies, try fighting and winning a war or solving a murder case. It won't be necessary to wear a uniform or a trenchcoat, in fact it won't even require leaving your dining room table. All it takes is between three and seven dollars and the ability to read. The money buys one of dozens of adult table games, and the reading ability comes in mighty handy for deciphering instructions. Adult games are big business today, with special sections set aside in department stores and multimillion-dollar corporations trying to come up with the game that will capture the nation's fancy as 'Monopoly,' the money-property acquisition game, did in 1935." Dave Wright explains game strategy to Jan and Bruce Carpenter, and wife Wendy.; See images #00126613 through #00126615 for all photos in this series.
