Photograph of an interior view of a Los Angeles County jail block, located on the tenth floor of the Hall of Justice, 1940-1949. The corner of a jail block sits at the center of the image, with one of its barred, metal walls angled toward the right and the other receding into the distance. Text painted on the near wall of the block reads "No Visitors Here" and "Keep Hands Off". Pipes and duct work are visible on the ceiling, while the floor is bare concrete.
