Photograph of aerial view of flooded area on Highway 14 at the Santa Ana River, 1938. At right, a wide road can be seen. On either side of the road, a large orchard consisting of long lines of trees can be seen. A line of about ten automobiles can be seen on the road. To the far left, a large suspension bridge can be seen over the Santa Ana River. At center, a section that connects the bridge to the road is missing. Water from the river extends up to large trees bordering the orchards. Photoprint reads: "This photograph is loaned to you. Please return to: Illustrator. L.A. City Planning Dept.
