Photograph of Agnews Asylum ruins after 1906 earthquake. There was severe damage and 101 patients and 11 staff members were killed.

Master images scanned at 300 dpi and scaled to 6000 pixels on the longest side. Bit depth: grayscale at 8-bit; color at 24-bit. Images compressed to 800 pixels across the long dimension and to JPEG format. Scanning outsourced to Luna Imaging Inc. as part of an LSTA Grant funded by the California State Library in 2003-2004. Scanning hardware is unknown.
