Photograph caption dated April 9, 1958 reads, "Ambulance attendants unstrap John T. Casagrande Jr., 10, from helicopter after Sheriff's Aero Squadron airlifted injured boy from mountain where he had been carried by seven Burbank policemen. Young Casagrande suffered hip dislocation and numerous cuts and bruises." The article partially reads, "The youngster, John T. Casagrande Jr., 10, of 2606 N. Parish Pl., Burbank, slipped while returning home from a school hiking trip yesterday and fell 100 feet into Brace Canyon near the Starlight Bowl. He was rushed to St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank by ambulance after a Sheriff's Aero Squadron helicopter piloted by Capt Sewell Griggers flew him down to a road."
