Description
Photograph of the pioneer monument, with a large structure in the background, in Salt Lake City, Utah, [s.d.]. The statue of a man holding a cane in one hand and reaching out towards the right of the foreground with the other stands atop a tall statue-base, which is embellished with a plaque and a two-dimensional design of several other men. At the base of the monument, two stoic figures sit, each staring off into the opposite sides of the area, and the entire structure is surrounded by a circular fence. At left, a man walks below several bare trees, while a large structure with several pointed towers appears in the background.
