Photograph of Carriso Gorge looking east from Black Mountains, October 5, 1919. At center, the various mountains and canyons of Carriso Gorge are visible. In the extreme foreground, the mountain slopes down to the right, and various mountain ridges at center also slope down to the right. Small rocks and debris can be seen along the slope, and a large canyon is visible beyond the initial mountain ridge. In the extreme background, several more mountain peaks and ridges can be seen.
