Description
The first portion of the film contains images of drawings from a calendar (1949) featuring scenes of Forty Niners during the California Gold Rush. These images rotate like a slide show approximately every 10 seconds. The second portion of the film includes moving pictures of snow scenes near Truckee and Lake Tahoe (Nov. 12, 1949), including people playing in the snow, people shoveling snow, and exterior images of buildings such as the Tahoe Inn and Cal-Neva Lodge.
