Claremont Pines was housing development built around 1927; was owned by Claremont Pines Corporation and developed by York Co., Inc. Built on former Bowles Estate, located on Broadway Terrace and Prospect. Former estate owned by Philip Ernest and Mary A. Bowles, known as "The Pines".
