Description
Reports of the Division of Engineering and Irrigation prepared pursuant to acts of the Legislature, Chapter 476 of the Statutes of 1925 and Chapter 809 of the Statutes of 1927. The map follows a stream called Lytle Creek, a tributary of the Santa Ana River, through the San Bernardino Mountains southeast through San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange Counties. The map also depicts significant land marks in accordance with the elevation and mile markers of the creek. Southern California Edison Company pipe lines are shown to parallel the northern path of the creek. Today, Southern California Edison uses this creek and other sections of the Santa Ana River for hydroelectric power.
