Photograph caption dated June 11, 1964 reads "Displaying his talents in one of the several events he's expert at, Art Shurlock displays his wares as he will do Friday night in Olympic gymnastic exhibitions at Pierce College, starting at 7:30 p.m. Shurlock, former national college champion at USC, was fifth in the 1964 National AAU all-around."
