Description
Photograph of restaurants and shops along a narrow alley in Los Angeles, [s.d.]. The alley runs from the foreground to the background at center and is lined with small, ramshackle buildings and utility poles. Many people can be seen wandering up and down the alley, examining the goods offered in the shops. A small open-air restaurant can be seen in the foreground at left. Larger buildings are visible in the background at left, while a tall tree can be seen in the foreground at right.
Legible signs include, from left: "Vineyard Co.", "The Methodist Church", and "Delicious Bar-B-Q Beef Taquitos 2 for 25 cents".
