Photograph caption dated March 24, 1958 reads, "County Assessor John R. Quinn, center, appoints Eddie Sheehan, left, of Sherman Oaks, as chairman of Valley veterans' committee to campaign for Quinn's re-election. Sheehan is past commander of Van Nuys American Legion Post. Also on committee are Lou Shine, right, president, Sherman Oaks Rotary Club; Bob Snyder, Wilma Birdsill, Steve Foote, Milton and Justine Werner, Huston Carlyle, H. C. Finwall, Ruperto Martinez, Florence Van Nostrand, O'Neill D. Ganey, Benjamin F. Vogt, Fred Plugge, Clarence N. Pogue, Frank Goettling and Eddie and Earl March."
