The headquarters for the Pacific Federal Savings and Loan Association, originally known as the First Federal Savings & Loan Building, was built in 1959 and demolished in 1998. The site became the Hollywood & Highland entertainment complex in 2001. Visible are, from left to right, Mann's Chinese Theatre, the 12-story office building serving as the headquarters of Pacific Federal Savings and Loan Association, the Hollywood Wax Museum, a 2-story commercial building, and a multi-story office building occupied by Diamond Jim's restaurant on the ground floor. Yellow ribbons have been placed on the trees along the boulevard in honor of the Iran Hostage Crisis.
