Photograph caption dated March 8, 1961 reads "Pretty Karen Griffin, 19, Miss Panorama City, cuts ribbon during official opening ceremonies for the new House of Nine shop, 8404 Van Nuys Blvd., Panorama City. Also participating in program are store officials Irving Anekstein, Saul Gealer, Nate Gealer and Panorama City Chamber of Commerce president Jule Davidson."
