Photograph of a view of Santa Monica looking south from Palisades Park, ca.1910. The top of the palisades are at left and a fence made of twisted wooden branches runs along the top edge. There are several palm trees near the fence. The Pacific Coast Highway is visible in the foreground at right and is lined with an assortment of large buildings. The Santa Monica Pier is visible jutting out into the water at right. There are several structures on the pier, including a roller coaster and a billiards and bowling hall.
