Photograph of Upper Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park, ca.1900. A strong current of water rages off the edge of a mountain in a narrow vertical strip that sits to the left of center. The water crashes in rocks along the mountainside to create a mist at the bottom of the image. In the foreground, A dense foliage of leaves sits in the foreground while the rugged cracks and bumps in the cliff side are visible on either side of the waterfall.
