Photograph of the exterior of St Paul's Church, Jammu. The photograph was taken on the day of its dedication, 10th May 1929. A group of parishioners and the church clergy can be seen outside the church. The church is a large red brick building. This belongs to a series of Church of Scotland Foreign Missions Committee lantern slides relating to Jammu City, which is also known as the "City of Temples". A mission station occupied by Church of Scotland missionaries was founded here in the late 19th/early 20th century. Jammu is also one of the three administrative divisions within Jammu and Kashmir, the northernmost state in India.
