3 images. Possible murder nude woman found on beach, 2 April 1958. Park Hendershod -- 40 years (husband of woman) Mrs. Alvia Hendershod -- 36 years (copy) possible murder. Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Emery. Date: 1958-04-02. Reporter: Emery to RW. Assignment: Possible murder (nude woman found on beach). 70/71: At Seal Beach Police Department woman's husband Park Hendershod, 40, insulator, of 4902 Lincoln Avenue, Cypress, tells story. 32/33: copy of snapshot shows Hendershod and wife Mrs. Alvia Hendershod, 36, in pix [sic] made 2 years ago, a year after their marriage". According to the victim’s niece, Ms. Sheryl Galante-Watts, the woman’s name was Alivia Galante Lawrence: “She died on April 1st, 1958. I do not think it was a husband who murdered her. Possibly a boyfriend. She left 4 children behind. Two of them are still alive. A mystery article was written in regards to her murder. My dad identified the body". (May 21, 2014).
