Photograph of John Ferraro, USC tackle, ca. 1943-1947. Mr. Ferraro can be seen at center, lunging in an offensive posture. He "was a tackle of towering talent when he played for USC in the 1940s. Twice named an All-American, he played in the East-West Game and went to the Rose Ball three times. After his graduation, Ferraro entered the insurance business, was elected to the Los Angeles City Council in 1966, and later became its president" -- The Trojan gallery, p. 427.
