First county atlas of Sonoma County. Thompson published county atlases in Illinois in the early 1870's with Lewis Everts; he came to California in the mid 1870's and over the next two decades published six California county atlases: Alameda, Solano, Tulare, Santa Clara, Fresno, and Sonoma.
