Description
Exhibit board explaining the experiments made by Albert A. Michelson & Mount Wilson Observatory staff on the velocity of light at Irvine, California. The label at the top of the board reads: "Velocity of Light. This investigation was initiated by Dr. Michelson and has been carried on at Irvine, California, by the University of Chicago and the Carnegie Institution of Washington during the years 1930-1933". On the board are four (4) photographs and one diagram of the equipment used in the experiments.
