Description
Photograph of the Astronomers Monument at the Griffith Park Planetarium, 1936. The tall, light-colored monument is visible on a concrete platform at center. Three statues of men are visible on the base of the monument. The structure then tapers to a point, where a metal orb is visible. A fence can be seen on the edge of the concrete platform in the background. Further in the distance, the Hollywood sign is visible on the side of a mountain.
