Description: Donald M. Morris, Cmdr. Navy (Retired). Flew airships in the mid 1950s searching for Russian Submarines on the East Coast of the United States. I this video he discusses the mission, the operation of airships in general and how to fly what turned out to be the end of the U.S. Military Airship operations. This interview was conducted by Ron Carrico a docent at the San Diego Air and Space Museum by Zoom technology.
