Description
The 1982 Holy Bowl program once again chronicled the rivalry between the Christian Brothers High School Falcons and the Jesuit High School Marauders. The first Holy Bowl between the two Catholic schools occurred in 1969. The schools did not play each other in 1977 and 1978 but in total eleven games have featured the two, with six wins for the Falcons, four wins for the Marauders, and a single tie. When both teams tied in the 1973 0-0 contest, the field at the California State University, Sacramento provided muddy conditions making it difficult to play. This year’s game is set at the American River College Stadium.
