Photograph caption dated June 25, 1959 reads, "Tony Russo, 45, (inset) Good Humor ice cream man, kept cool and radioed for more police help as officer pursued escaping teenage car thieves on foot after cornering auto with police car at dead end of 16700 block of Rayen Street in Northridge. Officer J. T. Davis told Russo to call over police radio for aid while he ran after thieves. Help arrived above, and police returned car to owner, Marguerite T. Oliva of Van Nuys."
