Description
Note: " ... Leute Backsteine tragend zum Ofen." (E-30-0,3). - "Ziegelei war wahrscheinlich in Momarom, einem Häuptlingstum in der Nähe von Foumban, wo es grosse Tonvorkommen gibt, die bis heute von lokalen Töpfern benutzt werden. Momarom wurde von den Bamum unterworfen." (Ch. M. Geary, E-30-0,7 und E-30-0,8).
Note translation: " ... people are carrying bricks to the oven." (E-30-0,3). - "The brick-works was probably in Momarom, a chiefdom near Fumban, where there is a plentiful supply of clay, which is used by local potters to this day. Momarom was conquered by Bamum." (C.M. Geary/ file, ca. 1980).
