Title supplied by cataloger. Photo shows the front portion of St. Odilia Catholic Church as well as an adjacent smaller structure on the right. The church building is painted cream with a red-tiled roof; it has an arched entrance with a stained glass medallion window above it, and a small bell tower with a small cross is visible on the left. The front of the church is adorned with a red, white and green tissue paper "ball" and "linked chain" and is surrounded by a red security fence. Verso on photograph states that this church was the oldest African American Catholic Parish west of the Mississippi, but now due to the changing neighborhood, it is mostly Spanish. St. Odilia Catholic Church is located at 5222 Hooper Ave. and the corner of 53rd St. Photo dated: December 2005.
