Description: Trainmen and bus operators of the Pacific Electric lines cast their ballots in vote which "overwhelmingly" approved a company offer of 11 cents an hour wage increase. The initial vote was taken at a mass meeting at Rodger Young Auditorium, located 936 W. Washington Blvd. More votes are still to come in from outlying sections. Photo dated: June 24, 1943.
