Description
Sacramento's Foreman and Clark clothing store was established in 1930. Shown here in 1947, and touting itself as "The World's Largest Upstairs Clothier," it was located on the southwest corner of Seventh and K streets. J.C. Penney occupied the first floor of the same building. Just a year later, in 1948, Foreman and Clark would open a section for women's clothing.
