Shows river with tree-covered hills rising on left. Building up hillside, several structures line river, possibly a chute to load lumber. Boat moored along bank. "Ferris (?) Mill" -- handwritten on back. "Return to Alice Earl Wilder" -- handwritten on verso.
Alice Earl Wilder was daughter of Guy C. Earl and Ella J. Ford. Ella was daughter of Jerome B. Ford, owner of Mendocino Lumber Company.
