Description
Thirteen "Hiroshima maidens" who were scarred by the atom-bombing of Hiroshima during World War II, pose on the steps of the Hollywood church before being taken on a tour of the MGM studios. The women, ranging in age from 19 to 34, are returning to Japan after a year and a half of plastic surgery in New York. They were brought to this country by the State Dept. Photo dated: October 25, 1956.
