Description
Strip map of automobile route between Topanga Canyon and Rialto. Bounded by: Rialto (top), Topanga Canyon (bottom), Soledad Canyon (left), Los Angeles (right). Due north is 90 degrees to the left. Principal features: municipalities, roads, road names, mileages, natural features (especially canyons). Other prominent canyons: Ice House, San Antonio, Live Oak Creek, East Fork San Dimas, West Fork San Dimas, Big Dalton, Little Dalton, San Gabriel, Fish, Monrovia, Sierra Madre, Millard, Verdugo, Haynes, Pacoima, Placerita, Pico, Wiley. Printed at top right is "498" and "Brown". Printed at bottom, outside of map itself, is "96" and "'Help prevent fires' -- it pays". On verso is notice to look for official hotels and garages and a list of 32 branch offices of the Auto Club. At verso bottom is "1127".
