Description
Photograph of a panoramic view of North Figueroa Street, looking south from Spruce Street, showing early stages of street improvements on Figueroa, in November 1935 or February 1936. Three single story buildings with pitched roofs sit in the centerground of the image, among the two dirt lanes of the Figueroa Street construction site. The site is bordered on two sides by a low fence. Two construction vehicles are visible, one in the near centerground and one in the far centerground. Hills sit to each side of the construction site, while City Hall and other buildings of downtown are visible at the horizon.
