Roy J. Allen, member of the police spy squad and defendant in the Harry Raymond bombing case, is shown at right on the stand being quizzed by Richard Cantillon, defense attorney. Allen centered a hot tussle on the stand on June 3, 1938, as prosecuting attorneys sought to find out if the squad used wire tapping devices in shadowing Harry Raymond.
